Biological Science students select three from the four principal subjects

At the end of the second year, students shall apply for admission to a subject-specific Honours Degree programme. The number of students admitted to any of the Honours degree programmes may be restricted depending on the resources available. However, students with the minimum qualifications may apply.

- Student Counsellors operate to guide students in their transition from school to university environment, and assist them in overcoming learning, financial and emotional difficulties, and help to make their university life rewarding, pleasant and memorable

Learning Management System (LMS) is a learner support system that acts as a supplementary tool for blended learning (online and classroom based). FoS has a Moodle-based LMS, which can be accessed via http://lms.jfn.ac.lk/lms. Each student will get an individual account for LMS.
